Privacy Policy

Product Twenty makes useful, streamlined WordPress plugins. We apply the same approach to privacy: collect less, explain it plainly, and use information only when it helps us operate the site or fulfill a purchase.

Who we are

Product Twenty is operated by MicroMacro Technology. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Product Twenty website or follow a link to one of our plugins.

Information handled when you visit

You can browse the site and learn about our plugins without creating a Product Twenty account. The website itself does not host user accounts or contact forms.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may process standard technical information when your browser requests a page or file. This can include your IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, referring page, and the date and time of the request. This information may be recorded in server logs for delivery, reliability, troubleshooting, and security.

Plugin listings, downloads, and subscriptions

Site Defaults is available through WordPress.org. The free Media Usage plugin is not yet published. Visits to and downloads from WordPress.org are handled under WordPress.org's own terms and privacy practices.

Media Usage Pro is sold as a subscription through Freemius. If you open checkout from this site, Freemius processes payment, tax, licensing, invoices, and related customer communications. That can include your name, email address, billing details, and purchase history. Freemius's handling of that information is governed by its Privacy Policy and terms. Product Twenty receives the information needed to fulfill the license and provide support.

Google Fonts

This site uses Google Fonts to display its typography. When a page loads, your browser may connect to Google to request the font stylesheet and files, which gives Google access to technical request information such as your IP address and browser details. Google's handling of that information is governed by its Privacy Policy.

Cookies and consent choices

Product Twenty uses Klaro, an open-source consent manager, to record your privacy choice in a first-party cookie named p20_consent. That cookie is necessary to remember your selection and is configured to expire after 365 days. You can review, change, or withdraw your choice at any time through “Cookie choices” in the footer.

We use Google Tag Manager to manage measurement tags and Google Consent Mode to communicate your choice. Before Tag Manager loads, analytics storage and all advertising-related consent signals are set to denied. We do not grant advertising storage, advertising user data, or advertising personalization through this consent tool.

When analytics consent is denied, Google tags may send limited, cookieless measurements and consent-status information. Google Analytics cookies are not stored by this site in that state. If you accept analytics, analytics storage is granted and Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and collect information about page views, interactions, approximate location derived from IP address, browser, device, and referral source. Google processes this information under its Privacy Policy.

Opening Freemius checkout loads Freemius's overlay from checkout.freemius.com, which may set cookies or process technical data needed to complete the purchase. Freemius operates under its own privacy policy and terms.

How information is used and retained

Technical information may be used to deliver the site, maintain security, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate site operation. Server logs are retained only as needed for those purposes and according to our hosting configuration. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Security

We use reasonable measures intended to protect the site and the limited information associated with its operation. No website or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children's privacy

The site is intended for WordPress users and professionals, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Third-party links

The site may link to other websites or services. Their privacy practices are controlled by their own policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Product Twenty and its services evolve. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last revised.
